The story behind Nexca
The journey started over 30 years ago. As an avid car enthusiast and serial car buyer, I found myself constantly turning over my cars in the pursuit of the next! I quickly learned the private car selling process is quite involved and very time consuming.
As a car nut, the good news was I loved detailing, taking photos, writing the copy for online advertisements, interacting with buyers and negotiating, and arranging minor mechanical or body repairs and the roadworthy certificate. In other words, the entire selling experience. I made the time for something I loved doing. Most importantly, I benefitted from receiving the retail value of each car, rather than lowball dealer trade-in offers. That was the ultimate reward and validation for all the effort.
Along the way, I learned that the small details really do matter, the product must be prepared and presented in the best possible light and the easier you made the transaction for the buyer, the more likely you were assured a quick and trouble free sale. Interestingly, I also learned that you didn't need to sell the perfect car — a small dent here, a few scratches there — people understand the meaning of a well-loved car.
