Where is my car advertised?
Your car will be listed on Carsales.com.au, Australia’s leading car-selling platform and Nexca’s preferred choice for maximum exposure.
Does my car need a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC)?
No, but including a RWC significantly improves your chances of selling. It reduces risk for buyers and saves them effort — especially when they’re comparing similar cars that already include an RWC.
Does my car need current registration?
No, but without registration, your car can’t legally be driven on public roads for test drives, which makes selling much harder. Buyers would need to arrange an Unregistered Vehicle Permit (UVP) after purchase to drive the car.
Why is the booking fee listed as "from $..."?
Carsales.com.au charges higher advertising fees for more valuable cars. If your car is worth more, the booking fee reflects this increased cost.
What if I need to cancel the sale?
Life happens! If you cancel before a deposit is received, no problem. Please note: the booking fee is non-refundable, and cancellations aren’t possible after a deposit has been taken.
What does the pre-sale detailing include?
Your car gets a full refresh: paint decontamination and wash, engine bay cleaning, paint sealant application, interior vacuum and wipe-down, and spot cleaning for a showroom finish.
What's included in the photography package?
We use professional DSLR equipment to capture a large set of high-quality images that showcase your car at its absolute best.
Are you insured to drive my car?
It is essential that your vehicle has comprehensive insurance that includes coverage for unlisted drivers and no age or other restrictions. You must maintain comprehensive insurance on the vehicle until it is sold.
